Finding halal options yet experiencing authentic Japanese food to eat around Tokyo is a bit challenging. Overall there are only a small number of halal restaurants and food in Japan. But recently Japan has started to increase their Muslim friendly facilities including their food production. And when you found one, you must not resist!
Below I share halal restaurants that I've visited and some of the halal foods I've tried in Japan:
1) Curry House CoCo Ichibanya Halal Akihabara
Crispy cutlets and mouth watering curry! What more could you want? If you dream for a creamy and different taste Japanese curry, here's the place! You can select the level of spice, available from 1 to 10, from less spicy, somewhat spicy, most spicy even to the overly spicy!
Tips: Look for the green color signboard, because CoCo Ichibanya branch with yellow signboard is not halal. As at today, please take note that the only halal-certified CoCo Ichibanya is in Akihabara.
Address: 16 Kanda Matsunagacho, Chiyoda, Tokyo 101-0023,
Opening Hours: Open 24 Hours!! Yeahhh you hear it right!!
2) Shinjuku Gyoen Ramen Ouka
A nice eatery that serves authentic halal ramen.
The Ramen was light, yet flavourful and satisfying. It comes with a set of 2 sides, rice and a drink. You also can select the level of spice from 1 to 10.
As place is limited, reservation is highly recommended or else be prepared to wait for 30 minutes to an hour.
We did not made any reservation but we came during off peak hours, so we didn't have to wait at all! So please do come during off peak hours if you wanna really enjoy your meal.

The price might be expensive, but considering the quality of the Wagyu beef, it’s a worthy treat. Besides, there are many set options with various prices and you can choose the set that suits you.

7) Halal food in Haneda Airport.
There are some interesting halal food that you can but at Haneda Airport and I highly recommend you to get this "Royce Nama Chocolate' to bring back home. The are two available halal flavours as per below picture, and the rest are non-halal.
